I read compulsively, eclectically and fannishly.

Quand un roi perd la France (Les rois maudits, #7)
Maurice Druon
George Steiner
The Captive & The Fugitive
Marcel Proust, D.J. Enright, Terence Kilmartin, C.K. Scott Moncrieff
Civil War: Heroes for Hire - Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Palmiotti, Billy Tucci I didn't know who any of these characters were and I found their take on the Civil War and the Marvelverse in general refreshing. Although the frank discussion of race, class and gender is refreshing, the art is ... not so much. Every single character is standing en pointe on virtually every single page (including Iron Man, when he puts in an appearance). Apparently the artist uses Barbie dolls in place of more traditional artists' models.
